Wishbones have become a Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter feast staple. In usually, the wishbone from a turkey or chicken supper is kept and dried overnight. Two people snap it the next day while making a wish. Each individual pulls on an end with their pinky finger. The one with the larger bit gets their wish when the bone has cracked.
