The Irish Dullahan

Is an Unseelie fairie of some sort. It is headless and usually rides a black horse with his head tucked behind one arm. The eyes of the head are huge and dart about like flies all the time, while the mouth is always in a horrible grin that reaches both sides of the skull. The flesh of the cranium is reported to resemble rotten cheese in color and substance. The whip of the Dullahan is a human corpse’s spine, and the wagons they occasionally utilize are also built of funereal items. It is where a person is due to die when the Dullahan finishes riding. When the Dullahan cries out their name, they perish instantaneously.
