Pax’s cultural symbol is a maroon circle on a white background with three solid dots inside the circle representing art, science, and religion. Nichola Roerich created it to conserve cultural objects.
Olive Branch Peace Symbol
The olive branch has been used as a symbol of peace in Western civilisation since at least the 5th century BC in Greece. Olive branches were thought to symbolise plenty and ward off evil spirits by the ancient Greeks, and an olive branch was one of Eirene’s qualities, the Greek goddess of peace.
