There are gigantic pairs of eyes looking out from the four corners of the main tower on almost every stupa (Buddhist shrine) in Nepal. These are Buddha Eyes (also known as Wisdom Eyes), which glance out in all four directions to represent a Buddha’s omniscience (all-seeing).
