The Arrow

Since ancient times, the arrow has been seen as a symbol of might. This symbol, in addition to expressing power, also conveys speed and knowledge. The Greek goddess Artemis and the Greek deity Apollo, both famed as hunters, have both employed the arrow at times. The arrow has also been associated with the Greek god Eros, the Roman god Cupid, and the Hindu god Kama, all of whom are renowned as gods of sexual attraction. Sacred medicine arrows are also seen in Native American culture, and they represent men’s power.
